Dawn O’Shaughnessy launched Westside Designs and Interiors, a residential and commercial interior design firm, in March 1990. The firm is based in Portland Oregon. Dawn combines a Modern and traditional sensibility coupled with innovative design flair featuring a strong appreciation of color and contemporary trends. Westside Designs strives to find the balance of functionality, individualism and elegance with enduring style and comfort.

Dawn O’Shaughnessy’s work has been seen in many show houses and has been featured in publications such as Better Homes and Gardens, Architectural Digest and various other Portland area magazines. Dawn has won numerous “best designer” awards in the NW Street of Dreams and is excited to return to the 2009 Street of Dreams where she is designing two units in the Block 90 building located in the Pearl District. Some of Dawn’s most satisfied clients are the people who had Dawn come into their home or business and transform their space in one day by using their personal furniture and accessories.
