Portland, Ore -June 23, 2010 - The annual A Midsummer Night’s Dream charity benefit, organized by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, has kicked off the NW Natural Street of Dreams with style and class for the last 26 years. And the 2010 rendition, which takes place July 29 from 6-10 p.m., promises to impress like never before as it takes guests on a unique journey along Portland’s Skyline Boulevard.

This year’s rendition of the event, themed Illuminate the Night at Skyline, offers attendees a sneak peek at the four traditional homes, detached luxury condominium, and modular prefab home featured in the show while raising money for local charities. Since its inception in 1983, this benefit has provided more than $1.2 million for 75 local charities.

Special features of the 2010 event include hosted beer and wine stations, a dinner buffet courtesy of NW Natural, a champagne toast at the event’s entrance, live music, and a shuttle that will transport attendees between the showcased homes.

“This one-of-a-kind event is packed full of fun and surprises,” said Jennifer Wessling, the MSND coordinator. “There is no better opportunity for people to come experience Skyline’s beautiful views while joining together for a good cause.”
